Designed specifically for Biological Oxygen Demand (B.O.D.) determination and other applications requiring large capacities, a broad temperature range, and precise temperature control and uniformity. Available in two models, both featuring a top-mounted microprocessor-based control panel, push-button programming, built-in high/low temperature protection, output for remote alarm light/horn, mechanical convection, rear access door with key-lock, and output jacks for datalogging. An RS232 interface is available as optional equipment. Both units come with a standard power cord. Model 815 features a 20 cu. Ft. capacity, digital temperature display, and a -10°C to 50°C operating temperature range. The chamber interior has an easy-to-clean porcelain-steel finish and is equipped with three 27 x 17.5 inch top shelves, three 27 x 15 inch bottom shelves, and six 5 x 24 inch door shelves. Model 818 is an illuminated incubator featuring a 17.8 cu. Ft. capacity, digital temperature and clock LED's and -10°C to 50°C operating temperature (10°C to 50°C with illumination). The chamber environment can be controlled by programming two different heating/lighting cycles per day for a full seven days. Illumination is provided by two door-mounted fluorescent lamps which output 300 foot-candles of uniform light at 10°C. A software lockable keyboard helps prevent inadvertent changing of setpoint conditions. The chamber interior is equipped with six shelves. For 110V, 60Hz. Models for 220V are also available.
