Used in the determination of unsaturated hydrocarbons in gasoline. Body of bottle is "reaction vessel" whereby an accurately measured sample is pipetted into bottle; excess reagent is added and after reaction is complete, more reagent is added to raise "fat column" into calibrated neck of bottle where results are read directly in percentage of fat in sample.
