These mill jars are made of a special wear-resistant porcelain fortified with aluminum which is a high specific gravity grinding medium. This insures more than four times the wear-life of ordinary jars and less than half the contamination. These jars have increased impact resistance which reduces breakage hazard. The jars incorporate a simple, positive locking lid construction. The lid, locking bar, and hand wheel are an integral unit for quick and easy removal and replacement. Furnished with neoprene flat rubber gasket.
