These viscometers are for liquids so dark in color that the meniscus cannot be seen in the routine type, 69670 series. They are also used in the study of lubricating oils at low temperatures for the effect of various additives to lubricating and hydraulic oils. External pressure can be applied for varying shearing stress and shearing rates. Requires a sample of approximately 12 mL. Viscosity ranges for various ASTM sizes correspond exactly to those shown under 69670 series. Includes certificate of calibration.
