This is crystal clear Tygon tubing, formulation B-44-4X, with tough Dacron braid embedded within its wall, giving it working pressure about 4 times greater, size for size, than conventional Tygon tubing. Even with its braid, it retains all of the advantages of visual inspection and flow control, and its flexibility remains virtually unchanged from that of regular Tygon tubing. Because the braid is within the wall, the outer surface of the tubing is smooth and sanitation problems of exterior braiding are eliminated. Tygon Inner-Braided tubing meets F.D.A. regulations and the criteria of the 3-A Plastics Standard. Tasteless. Odorless. Also suitable for use with a wide range of laboratory and industrial chemicals.
