Since the shaker load does not need to be balanced, from one to four glassware holders of a single size or various sizes may be mounted on the platform. A shaker with 250mL separatory funnel holders thru 2000mL separatory funnel holders will operate within a fume hood with a minimum depth of 24 and minimum length of 36". Holders for 250mL to 2000mL separatory funnels allow funnels to be filled, inverted for shaking, and then reinverted for addition and/or extraction, all while the flask remains in the holder.
