Safety to laboratory workers is provided by a 3/16" thick polycarbonate barrier which is clear and has the highest impact resistance of all transparent laboratory shield materials. Three sided construction provides stability and protects personnel to the sides since the shield helps contain flying debris resulting from accidents. Heavy steel perimeter base 1" x 1-7/8" is coated with green epoxy. Plated steel bolts, nuts and washers are used for assembly. Outside base width is 19-1/2", 6-1/2" front to back.
