A large Alnico magnet provides positive magnetic coupling to lock the TeflonŽ coated stirring bar in phase. The solid state control prevents slow speed stalling and provides stepless stirring from 100 to 1000 RPM. Slow stirring is exceptionally stable. The case is cast aluminum to permit cool operation of the motor and controls. The top plate is aluminum. Includes 3-wire cord and plug and TeflonŽ coated stirring bar.
