Vortex-Genie™ mixer blends fluids quickly and thoroughly with a true vortex action that prevents spilling, even when the tubes must be uncapped. Because of special advancements, the Vortex-Genie 2 is now also capable of gentle yet thorough shaking action. The operator completely controls the mix of test tubes, beakers and flasks by varying the speed of the motor and/or the angle of contact and pressure against the mixing head. Multiple micro-tube mixing and 96 well micro well plate mixing is performed unattended. All mixing heads are made of chemical-resistant thermoplastic for quick clean-up without absorption.
Vortex-Genie 2™ increases the accuracy and flexibility of mixing and shaking with variable speeds of operation. Select gentle to vigorous shaking or low to high speed vortex action to achieve and repeat the desired mix homogeneity according to viscosity and miscibility. With accurate control of speed, position and intensity of mix, the operator using Vortex-Genie 2 is able to easily reproduce results from one application to the next. 110V, 60 Hz.
