The Poly-JaqueŽ plastic lab jack supports up to 15 lb. and positions apparatus precisely by turning a single knob. Hot plates, flasks, beakers, baths, aspirator bottles and numerous other items receive stable support from the sturdy top plate. Molded entirely of strong polycarbonate, the jack is non-conductive, can be immersed in a solution bath and be used in corrosive atmospheres without corroding or rusting. It can be steam autoclaved at 250°F (121°C). The jack weighs only 1-1/2 lb. But holds 10 times its weight. It operates from a closed height of 3" and opens to 12".
