These thermometers are completely sealed within a TeflonŽ jacket making them impervious to the chemical action of acids and other corrosive materials. The coating absorbs shock and will contain all the glass and mercury within the TeflonŽ jacket should the thermometer break. They are available in various temperature ranges in either Celsius or Fahrenheit. They are accurate to within NIST tolerances.
Mercury thermometers are supplied in yellow backing, organic spirit thermometers are supplied in white backing. Length 300mm.
