Monitor refrigerators, supply rooms, food storage, chemical warehouses, animal quarters, incubators, goods-in-transit, walk-in chambers, biological materials, and manufacturing plants. Single-use, disposable recorder displays temperatures on a 36-inch strip chart. Records for 5, 10, or 40 days. Temperature range is -20° to 100°F and -28° to 38°C. Displays both °F and °C on the same chart. Accuracy is ±1°C (±2°F). Solid-state, battery-driven, quartz-crystal controlled motor turns the chart with an accuracy of better than 1 second per day. Temperature sensor is bimetallic. It provides a permanent record, which is easy to read, duplicate, fax, scan, and file. It shows temperature and time/day of occurrence. Chart, marker, and battery are preloaded, simply pull a tab to begin recording. Unit is supplied with serial numbered Traceable® Certificate indicating traceability to standards provided by NIST. A tamper evident seal maintains the integrity of unit and results. Four-part form on the front permits writing start-time, date, location, and other pertinent information. The instrument, chart, four-part form, and Traceable® Certificate are all marked with the same serial number. They provide accurate, permanent, and complete documentation. Supplied with AA alkaline battery. Shock-resistant ABS plastic case is 5-1/4 x 3-7/8 x 2-1/2.
