Specifications: Molybdenum disilicide heating elements positioned along the sidewalls assures excellent chamber uniformity. Increased strength of larger 6 mm diameter elements eliminates potential for accidental breakage and provides longer performance life. Furnace chamber features graded fiber insulation, an insulating front vestibule to improve thermal uniformity and reduce heat losses, and a vent for processes that generate fumes. Operator safety is emphasized through a vertical lift door design that keeps the hot face away from the operator, and forced air convection between the inner furnace and outer shell that provides a safe, low temperature furnace cabinet. A removable top panel allows easy installation of heating elements, and convenient access to electrical leads. The furnace is supplied with a Type B thermocouple. Furnace temperature controller is a highly accurate 8 segment programmable control. Each segment may be either a ramp (up or down) or a dwell (timed soak). This PID instrument incorporates two LED digital displays that simultaneously indicate actual furnace temperature and set-point temperature. An independent over-temperature protection system provides positive protection of both furnace and load in the event of failure in the primary control circuit.
