Small furnace-High Performance! Process at ultra high temperatures under controlled atmosphere. Furnace heated length provides ±5°C uniformity over center 8" of chamber. Specifications: 12" long heated chamber will accept process tubes up to 3.5" OD. Furnace chamber features heavy duty long-life molybdenum disilicide heating elements and graded ceramic fiber insulation to form a thermal efficient chamber. Convective air flow between the inner furnace and outer shell enhances operator safety by providing a safe, low temperature furnace cabinet. A removable top panel provides convenient access to the heating elements and thermocouple. The furnace is supplied with a Type B thermocouple. The furnace temperature control system is incorporated into the base of the furnace, providing convenient observation and access to the temperature control. Furnace temperature controller is a highly accurate 8 segment programmable control. Each segment may be either a ramp (up or down) or a dwell (timed soak). This PID instrument incorporates two LED digital displays that simultaneously indicate actual furnace temperature and set-point temperature. An independent over-temperature protection system provides positive protection of both furnace and load in the event of failure in the primary control circuit.
