A high resolution CCD camera, monitor, and superior optics produce an extremely sharp, bright 50X image of the can seam. Electronic measuring cursors are used to measure the various seam dimensions, such as seam height, seam thickness, overlap, body hook and cover hook, Dimensions can be taken on either the X or Y axis, and a large digital display makes measurement fast, easy and accurate. The VSM II also has adjustable illumination, built-in calibration procedure, and both RS232 serial and parallel data output. Can be connected to the WACO Accuseam 2000 System for automatic seam measurement and analysis.
