Apparatus for removing interfering substances in quantitative analysis of various industrial waste waters, saline and reagent grade water. Cyanide as hydrocyanic acid (HCN) is released from cyanide complexes by means of reflux-distillation and absorbed in a scrubber containing a sodium hydroxide solution.
