These inexpensive laboratory tube furnaces combine innovative furnace design technology with MoldathermŪ, Lindberg/Blue M's unique ceramic fiber insulation and heating element composite. Furnace Model 55035 includes a built-in four segment digital microprocessor based programmable temperature controller. This controller incorporates an advanced self-tuning feature that automatically provides the best control parameter values during furnace operation. Furnace Model 55030 features a self-tuning single setpoint digital controller. Both furnaces incorporate the controller built into the furnace cabinet. Each furnace includes a Platinel II thermocouple. The split hinge design permits easy operation, convenient placement of the process tube, rapid fixturing and overall ease of operation. These small, reliable tube furnaces are designed to meet specific needs of educational, governmental and industrial laboratories. Both furnaces include power cord and plug, and operate on 110V, 50/60 Hz, 800W. They will accept a 1" OD process tube and have a heated length of 12 inches. Overall size is 15H x 11W x 16"L.
