These new 55000 Series 1200°C tube furnaces incorporate split hinge design for easy observation, fast cooling and overall ease of operation. Each furnace's structural framework allows it to be mounted and used horizontally or vertically without modification. Optional stand for vertical mounting is available. Also, by using interchangeable tube adapters, the furnaces will accept a variety of different OD process tubes. Their electric heating modules are composed of a light gauge overbend (LGO) heating element and Moldatherm® ceramic fiber insulation, These improve the furnace’s radial and end-to-end uniformity, heat up rates and element to workchamber heat transfer.
